Leucadendron Amy : Free flowering colourful bracts commencing deep red in autumn and gradually turning cream in early spring as the cone develops.Bushes reach 1.5 x 1m, are frost hardy and wind tolerant.
Leucadendron Argenteum : The silver tree. An absolute stunner but needs plenty of space. Large furry silver leaves that reflect and shimmer in the sunlight. Can achieve a height of 7 plus metres. Large silver cones are produced by both male and female of the species. Pinching out the tips of new growth will encourage a more branching effect. The down side is Ld.Argeneum can be a bit temperamental but too nice not to persevere with. Prefers a lighter soil type. For best results mix in washed sand/gravel or smaller grade scoria with heavy soils.
Leucadendron Bells Sunrise: Long stems with lovely bronze new growth which ages to an iridescent lime green and finishes at pale yellow bracts edged red with silver cones. 1.5 x 1.4m.
Leucadendron Durban Gold: Small growing attaining a size of 1 x 1 metre. Durban Gold has a very neat habit, producing large (in comparison to its leaf size) tulip shaped bracts of a pure lemon colour that with aging turn shades of deep copper red. An easily grown Leucadendron that requires little maintenance beyond nipping off the old flowers.

Leucadendron Inca Gold: Medium sized tulip shaped bracts of a brilliant yellow colour combined with a red edge and red stems. Provides an outstanding display from late winter to spring. 1.5 x 1.5m.
Leucadendron Jester: In relation to most Leucadendrons Jester is a slow grower but certainly worth the wait. The variegation in the leaf is very attractive with green and cream leaves outlined with a pinky/red margin. Flowers are similar to those of Safari Sunset in size but slightly more pink than deep red. The bush will attain a size of 2 x 1.5 metres, but it will take a while.
Leucadendron Julie: Small dainty multi-headed bracts coloured from pink to yellow gold. Best kept trimmed to 1.5 metres but will grow up to 2 metres if let to go.
Leucadendron Maui Sunrise: A slightly open erect upright shrub that grows quite slowly. The bracts start out as a very pale cream (almost white) but as they mature an apricot/orange blush occurs giving the bracts a hue similar to the colours of a sunrise. Unusual for this coloration Maui also flowers a little later than most leucadendron and will give continuing garden colour over the winter period. Prefers a slightly more moist situation than most Leucadendrons.
Leucadendron Mrs Stanley: A very popular variety. Not large at 1 x 1 metre but there is hardly a month when Mrs Stanley doesn't have colour ranging from a deep burgundy/blue shade through to bright reds and a mix of pinks and creams. Bracts are produced in abundance and it is great for picking most of the year. Her compact size makes her ideal for the smaller home garden.
Leucadendron Safari Sunset: A quick grower forming a dense erect shrub of 2.5 x 2.5 metres. Deep red bracts that age to a pink and cream on long stems. Popular for all types of floral work and an excellent commercial crop. The bracts are pickable from March through till August. A very easy to grow Leucadendron but for best results a full sun, open, well drained situation is desirable. Suitable for hedging, requires pruning only once a year, no fertilizer and next to no watering in the summer. The long stemmed bracts are suitable for privacy without spoiling an outlook.
Leucadendron Super Star: Produces a prolific amount of smaller bracts opening cream and deepening to red as they mature. Like Red Bird is suitable for mass plantings. Erect habit up to 1 metre.
