Protea Candy

A reasonably compact shrub that produces flowers of candy red bracts with a black tuft in the centre. Bright green narrow leaves.

For a small shrub stems can be surprisingly long and attractive as cut flowers.

A vigorous and somewhat free flowering habit. Prune well after flowering.

H: up to 1.5-2m. F: Autumn – Spring. Medium frost tolerance ie. tolerates light frost
