A large open shrub. Colourful flowers with spoon shaped bracts of red and a floral mass deepening to a wine colour.

Broad grey leaves with stems suitable for picking. Usually summer flowering but can free flower throughout the year.

H: 2-3m.  F: Summer  [often free-flowering]. Frost hardy.
