Leucospermum Kristen

A striking hybrid with an erect spreading growth habit. It is a very prolific flower producer having terminal deep red flowers which are produced in Spring to early Summer.

Plant in an open sunny situation is a moist yet deep free draining acidic soil. It will respond to moisture during Summer and during periods of prolonged dryness. It is drought tolerant once established. Avoid fertilisers. Pick the flowers as a form of pruning. Prune back after flowering to enhance flower production next season.

Frost and coastal tolerant.

A striking shrub for any border and coastal garden. The flowers borne on long stems are excellent for floral use.
